Hi,

I have over the last months had oil leak from my pathfinder, it seems to increase over time.

I checked around and found thats its leaking from various places, from the seals around the fuel injectors, from the rear of the rocker arm cover...

I then tried to open the oil filler cap while the engine was running, and there was a fair amount of overpressure there. I pulled of the crankcase overpressure tube from the rocker arm cover, and there was hardly anything coming out there, så i pulled off the rockerarm cover, hoping to find a faulty PCV valve, a blockage, but nothing wrong to be found. ( no PCV valve, just some chanels inside to awoid oil carryover).

But when i felt on the tube going to the intake manifold there was no vacuum there, should i expect a vacuum there when the engine is ideling?

Any one have experiance with blowby or excessiv pressure like this?

I was thinking about adding a ventilation tube with a oil catch can, but that wont solve the problem, just treat the symptomes i guess...

Any good tips?

The engine has 212.000km on the counter.
