where the hell could the leak be coming from? the oil is all over the passenger side bay, like on the bottom of fuse box, altenator, some even on the belts - its making them squeak.

Oil pressure sending switch, located on the bottom of the oil filter pedestal. Very common to leak.

Other common leaks (not in that area) are rear main seal, oil pan gasket, then front main seal.

Best thing to do is get a can of brake cleaner, spray all the oil off, crank the car up, and see where its coming from.

He said its on the belts, the crank pully will sling it out on everything to the right of it ie: alternator, lower rad hose, frame rail, ac dryer, etc. Usually when the pressure sensor leaks it runs down the side of the block and will drip off the bottom and back of the oilpan and the rear section of frame rail will be covered if its a really bad leak. But true the best way to find a leak when it may not be obvious is to clean everything and run it to see where the leak is coming from.
