oil leak cleanup

I have massive oileaks on my car. Me and my father are going to fix them for christmas(ya..great christmas present huh?)....we've already had to replace that catalytic converter and alternator due to the oil leaks(oil in the cat and oil shorted the alt.)I am purchasing some jackstands soon for my dad's christmas present(such an automotive family)....what is going to be the best way to clean up my car? Should i just hose it down with enginedegreaser? it's mostly on the front of the engine and the whole underside of it.Also...where is a place I can purchase just a cheap MAF adapter to put an air filter on my intake? I already have a muffler shop offer to make the intake tubing mandrel bent. Any answers are greatly appreciated!
