I had an old '91 Pathfinder that needed its front crankshaft seal replaced. When I removed the bolt, I saw that the blind threaded hole was wet with oil inside. I simply thought that the previous owner's mechanic lubed it with oil when it had been previously taken apart. Some oil lubrication or anti-seize grease I would understand but I saw drips of oil coming out when I removed the bolt. I cleaned it all out and I lubed the bolt with anti-seize grease when I put it back together. Never gave it another thought until now, and that was at least 15 years ago. I wish I could remember what I had for breakfast this morning.

Don't you think.
