how much oil are we talking? like a big pool in the intercooler or a thin coating on the piping/intercooler?

little oil - crankcase ventilation back into the intake and through the turbo or turbo oil seal is starting to let go

lots of oil - turbo oil seal has let go and is allowing oil onto the compressor side of the turbo which pumps it into your intercooler.
