What does it mean if you have oil on the compressor side of your turbo going into your intercooler. Hope this isnt a big deal, it isnt alot of oil but any input would be appreciated. Also if I posted this in the wrong place, sorry I am new to the whole "forums" thing. Thanks.

Residue or a slight amount = no big deal, normal.

A pool or small collection of fresh fluid = blown oil seal on the compressor side.

You will always have a little oil in the inlet and pipes just because seals can never really truely seal perfectly but as said above if you have a puddle or mass amounts then your seals are blow and its time for a rebuild. Often associated with blown seals is oil burn or smoke from the exhaust.
