went to replace recirculation valves after hearing compressor surge on passenger side turbo, and found about an oz of sludged oil in it and around the hoses. I found that my pcv valve was leaking oil into the coupler exiting the turbo compressor. will my turbo be damaged from this?

If the oil is coming from the PCV and the turbo is still good you should be ok, however this condition is suspect, inspect the turbo to make sure that its not leaking oil.

As long as the oil seals in the turbo are intact it should be fine. If it was leaking into the compressor outlet then I doubt any oil got into the turbo itself since it would just blow it out toward to intercooler
