Well I went to take off my front mount to start putting on my jdm front end and noticed I had oil in the piping cold side and hot side. Any ideas? I searched and said it was the seals going. Its a fresh swap, I just got it running like 2 or 3 weeks ago.. Its gonna suck if Im gonna have to replace the turbo already.

its either a turbo seal or your oil rings are weak...You should have very little oil in you i/c piping...More than residue is to much, when your car is idleing are you getting any blowby when take the oil cap off?? All so do a compression check...Even though it is a fresh swap, that does not ensure a good motor...These motors are junkyard motors in Japan and have likely sat for wile before being shipped over..Every SR motor Ive had, I have refreshed before install...Hell half of the SR's you see are 15 years old...

compression is excellent across the board. We tested that on the first start up.

The car doesnt smoke at all during idle or boosting. If that gives anyone a clue.

assuming you have a catch can set up, sounds like your turbo seals are letting some blow bye into your intercooler, if it is a t25 you can rebuild it for cheap.

double check your compression at operating temp, if it is good install a catch can system. I don't think the T28 is rebuildable I personally would have no problem running that turbo till you could afford to purchase a NEW unit to replace it.
