hey guys. i havent posted here in a while b/c the lack of internet at the house now and lack of time. anyways, i have been slowly working out the kinks and whatnots with my kat. i have only drove it maybe 50-100 miles with the turbo on. i drove it to my buddy's house last friday to show it off and to make a flange for my new bov. on the way over i got on it and blew a coupler off. when i got there i opened the hood and the coupler that is attached to the outlet of the compressor to my hot pipe had blown off and oil had shot out of the piping. I have talked to a few people and they say that my turbo seals are probably shot. the turbo is like brand new though with no shaft play. what do you guys think?

another guy i talked to said that i might have to much oil pressure to the turbo or too little of a drain line. i have the boost designs oil line kit. i dont have a restrictor either.

It's probably both. You need to check your oil seals and install a .63" restrictor in your oil line.
