HELP....noticed bluish smoke froom my exhaust...lots of it....I thought it was my valve seals....but I just saw oil on top, underneath my hood where the blow off valve shoot out....I'm pretty sure its also all over my intercooler piping...the intake is eating oil and thats why its blowing smoke...

does anybody know where its from...obviously the turbo....but how?...and how can i fix it?

The compressor seals are probably shot. Rebuild the turbo or replace it.

What size line are you running to the center cartridge? Any restrictor? And have you heard any screetching or screaming sounds? These would indicate a balancing problem.

Yikes, oil in the IC piping is like the equilivent of coughing up blood. Sorry to hear bout that man

As far as the restrictor, unless you have a BB turbo Ive heard most people reccomend a -1AN/1/16" restrictor. I was wondering the same thing cause I have a -3AN feed line as well.

I'm going to run a restrictor on mine...

Make sure your return line isn't kinked or blocked in anyway. This will destroy a turbo with the quickness, well the seals anyway.

I'm running -3an and no problems so far. I believe -3an or 3/16 ID" line functions as a restrictor.

i made my own. i used a russell 1/8" plug and i used a drill and tapped a 1/16" hole in it, then grinded down the ends of it to make it stubbier. i then put it in the turbo and there you go, a home made oil restrictor that costed me 3 bucks.

atpturbo.com sells a restrictor. I run one with my -3an line.
