Oil in Intake

i removed the air intake on my convertible and it was full of oil it was puddled in the intake valves and the lower part of the intake was pooled haha. how does oil get in down ther? i have a new pcv valve and i even replaced the breather seperator box and nope its still puddling it litle by little which causes the motor to burn oil like a sif it seems like i am burning out driving down the road, please help i dont want to give up on this car but this motor is pushing it

Since no-one knows where or how oil gets in there i mad my own catchcan and am going to install it between the pcv system hopefully it works

i am still open for advice or help please

dude, i think i have 'kinda' the same problem! or i did until i left it go for too long...now my 1990 ka wont start! mine never pooled the way urs did, but i blue enough of it out behind me going down the road. imy only guess 4 mine would be piston ring clearence or something very close. u figure out urs, let me know so i can check it against mine!!!

You need to check the compression on all 4 cylinders, and then do a leak down test. You probably have either internal engine problems or you have a head gasket problem. The only way to get oil into the intake like that is for the oil system to be pressureized by cumbustion gases.

Your performance has probably also gone down lately.
