i dont think its oil because its almost completly silver, i was reading on here about blown turbo and they said check tht and i did.before i stopped driving car due to snow it ran fine besides, backfiring, irratic idle and occasional dieing out due to unrecirc. bov? (correct?)so im going to circulate that and hope it stops all that next time i can drive it.but the extremly silvery stuff in hotpipe worries me!it feels like cruddy oil but is just silver. i can get pics if need.i did search and sorry if i didnt find a post already about this but is it bad to have that, is it just blowby due to unrecirc bov? also there was lil bit of oil in the bov itself.please help me figure this problem out im stumped!thanks alot!

if you have oil coming out of your bov, you are getting some nasty blow by...probably weak rings..do a compression check and you probably find a weak cylinder...

oil in hot pipe means you got a blown turbo. Do you smoke? Pics of this silver substance.

in the bov, are you sure it isn't just grease or something? you know, for the piston and cylinder. otherwise, carbon?
