the timing chain slipped on my 93 240 and bent all the valves on the exhaust side of the head. after replacing the valves i cranked the engine only to realize that the #4 cylinder is filling with oil to the point that it covers the plug the only thing i can think of that could cause that is damaged rings. has anyone else had this problem or maby know what is causing it??

Do a compression check. A bent valve or valve seal and or the oil ring could be bad. If the engine smokes when you first start it (black smoke), it is a good indicator that the valve is not sealing properly or most likely, the valve seal is gone.
