Alright guys well unfortunately I think my head gasket is toast. I am on here to ask if my intake/exhaust cam gaskets can leak oil into the coolant? I highly doubt it but worth asking. The car runs extremely smooth and does not overheat at all. There is no coolant in the oil. I noticed this after using my heater to defrost my window and ever since the coolant has been dirty. Initially I thought it was just rust or something but I've flushed the coolant a few times but it was not consistent they were a few months apart. It is indeed oil and I do not want to do a head gasket on an NA engine would much rather just start a TT swap. Any info will be appreciated!

Generally it's coolant in the motor oil because the coolant is at higher pressure although oil can go the other way if it comes out of a pressure gallery.

If the car has ATX (OP mentions rust color) it may instead be that the transmission has fractured the intercooler plumbing inside the radiator, common enough.

Also if you've mixed standard coolant and dex-cool (the orange stuff) it can react and make a sludgy mess.

Forgot to mention my car is an NA Manual.
Ace I think I accidentally did that once cause my car leaked some coolant and I didn’t have anything else... didn’t think it would make that much mess now I want to do a proper flush of the system

Yeah, my TT was a mess because I mixed the stuff. Made a muddy sludgy mess and was awful to remedy.

Dexcool can sludge up even without mixing it with other stuff, GM has TSBs on it. It as well ate certain plastic parts too.
