oil help

im just about done with my engine swap all i gotta do is plug the wiring harness in and run my battery to the truck and put the new oil in. what weight and brand of motor and transmission oil should i use that would give me great performance.

There is a thread on which oil everyone is using somewhere.I'm using Mobil 1 10-30.;)

mobile 1 is the sh1t. i flip between using 10-30 and 5-30 depending on the weather. i'll be swapping up to 10-30 now that it's getting warmer. just make sure whatever you get is synthetic.

Haha, I use Mobile 1 15w-50 year round here in AL. Maybe that is a little thick.

Same here, although it does get cold here in southern california sometimes, I don't think it gets too cold to use anything lower than that.

i'm using syntec 0w30 the euroblend green formula, my engine loves it. so does blackstone labs.
