oil from the BOV

ok I know that one cause can be blown seals in the turbo, but Im trying to be optimistic... What other causes are there for oil inside the hot pipe and a fine spray from the bov.

If you have your breather hose from your valve cover to the intake tube, it could be from that.

if the car runs like crap, do a compression test. that way you can eliminate or pursue internal problems in the engine. i was getting oil out of my BOV and i did a compression test and it seems that my one piston ring is shot, hence the reason for the oil. also check the spark plugs for any oil on them.

the car runs fine, but I think I should do a compression test anyway. Besides that I took the car for a drive the other nite and had a boost spike to over 30psi according to the profec b. my boost is completely uncontrollable. boosts as high as it feels like. this project is turning into a huge headache!!
