Oil filters....

Hi, I just went over and picked up my years supply of oil filters. The one used previously was a 15208-65F00

The ones he gave me were a 15208-65F0C and they had copper washers attached to the box.

Are these the same filters?thx

If they look the same, they are probably just a rebranding or may have a minor internal change that does not affect performance. I'd suggest calling your dealer, or Joe Tsensky at http://www.everythinginfiniti.com or even Infiniti Corporate, and asking for information on it.

I suppose it could also be a combined part number when the copper washer is included.

In any case, I hope the Nissan and Infiniti techs chime in here ...

P.S. The M oil filter is $5.31 and the copper washer is $0.66 from http://www.everythinginfiniti.com. I buy mine 6 at a time to distribute the shipping charges a bit ...

I'm faily sure that is the same part number I get for my G when I get a filter. Look on the side of the box, it will tell you what cars that filter is used for.
