Okay, so I just need to know how everyone who has removed the stock RB25 oil cooler went about removing the stud that is in the block. I am going to be running a sandwich plate with an oil cooler and I already have everything I need, including the new thread adapter. My problem is I need to get the stock stud out so I can screw in the thread adapter, and for some reason it wont budge. Any ideas?

I was talking about the piece screwed into the block that the stock oil cooler slides on... but it's okay b/c I got creative and was able to unscrew it after all.

To keep from damaging mine with vise grips I used a flat bar (like the ones used to lock some toolboxes) in the slots and took it out that way.

I broke an expensive wide flathead socket trying to get it out. I welded that piece with a fitting from a derale kit and switched it out with a HUGE usd oil filter.
