Does anyone know the model number for the a/c 2.5s oil filter?

I found some here for the Altima. Not sure if it's OEM though.

I also found a K&N oil filter, part #HP-1008

Bump. Anyone have the actual part # for an OEM Nissan Oil Filter, or better yet, a link to where it can be purchased online?

ANy reason you want an OEM oil filter vs. a FRAM or the like?

OEM filters are superior to Fram filters because they have an anti-drain feature which retains oil in the filter when the engine is shut off.

BTW 3.5 and 2.5 share the same filter # 15208-L3135

I've only had good experiences dealing with courtesyparts: http://www.courtesyparts.com/M...L3135

Thanks so much Eric. That filter is for the 2007 Altima, but it will fit the 2.5S Coupe, right? Also, would OEM be better than K&N, for instance?

Thanks again.

Yup me too, my Titan is used on a couple of pics...

the front is mine tooo

hmm I thought FRAM has has silicon anti-drain quasi-check valves in their oil-filters for a while now, well at least it says so on the box....

I'd just throw a tough guard on there from your local wally-mart its really not gonna get any better...kinda like oils not a huge difference on brands...some synthetics have different polymers but really mobile 1 is no better than any other synthetic...and regualr 5W30 is regular 5w30 wheter its wolf's head or quaker state...

just sayin..

Yes, it will fit your car. '07 and '08 models are the exact same cars. I've always used OEM filters with the exception of my first car in which I used Fram. The reason I went back to OEM is because of the anti-drain feature. But according to LinkNuc, Fram added this feature now. I don't know, I'm just partial to OEM filters because it's, well, OEM!

Thanks for the heads up. I'll order one now. I guess you can't go wrong with OEM, even if they do have K&N and other brands out there.

Oil Drain Plug Washer: http://www.mynismo.com/products/?id=4935

From CourtesyParts, you can get 10 filters for about the same price (shipped) as the eBay link.
