Oil filter relocation

Anybody have any luck with using a relocation of the oil filter??
I found this one and the sandwich adapter looks like its short enough to work.

I've seen photos of it done on VG30 engines in WD21s, but never heard of a successful attempt on any R50. I don't recall what the complications were, have you tried searching?

That kit looks like it would work fine as long as you have enough room to mount the new filter base somewhere and run the hoses cleanly.

I have searched with no good luck the only things i have found is unsuccessful stories. The kit i showed is threaded correctly I verified..
