The ave. price is over 200 for a good one for the sr20 and for the 5.0 its around 100 if not less so.

not off the top of my head just find a kit that works for the application you need. in the case of the sr it uses the same filter as a sentra se-r but there are several nissans with the same thread size

the HP-1003 has different height, and most importantly has different thread diameter (imperial vs metric)

You can find all this information on kandn.com. I used the HP-1010 because that's the first filter I found that threads on like it's meant to be there. I tried the 95 Sentra SE-R one and it didn't work, the HP-1010 fits like a glove. This is from trial and error, I'm not just speaking out the a**

I have the GReddy unit ... haven't installed it yet though. If the point is to save money, don't get this one.

Well, I don't know why it would beg anything ... but there's cheap universal ones that don't include everything you need, then there's expensive ones that are fit for your vehicle, and then there's name brand vs. no name, there's proven quality over mass cloning, there's quality over crap, there's pretty and not so pretty, and there's also the massive dealer discount I used to get when I had an account with lots of top brand racing product companies when I bought this.

Hey, I'm a sucker for name brand stuff too.
