aftermarket filter with the oil drain back flap thing besides original NISSAN part? I know fram does not have it and allows oil to drain from engine and makes the rattle on start up issue. Getting filter from NISSAN is a pain and wondered if anyone has found a aftermarket filter that has the drain back thing.

Never mind with a bit of google i found local arts stores carry purolator pure one and it has anti drainback valve for like 6 bucks and available around the corner. Changed timing gears chain guides water pump etc. After sitting over night rattle for 3-5 seconds and this may be why. Will update once i pop on the new filter.

If you like the PureOne (I do) and have Advance Auto in your area you can get them for $1 each. At least I did last week... they have a $5 online sale price, use the BIG20 coupoin code to knock a $1 each off, then there's a mail in rebate for $3 each (limit 4 filters) at Purolator's web site. I'm stocking up :D

I don't think it's the filter draining back as much as I think the KA is slow to build pressure overall. Mine does the same thing and the noise goes away as soon as my gauge needle above above 2psi.
