Hey guys I just bought a braided oil feedline and the fitting that goes in the block doesn't fit its slightly to large. I need to know if anybody knows the size and thread pitch of the fitting that goes in to the block so i can replace the fitiing on the end of the hose...thx

i bought a banjo fitting adaotor and i think its 7/16 x 24 but dont hold me to that. measure it with some calipers and then use a thread pitch gauge to check the threads of the stock oil feed line

That part that goes into the block is NPT. The threads in the block are BPT. You need to get a BPT to NPT adapter.

Online. I've never found any BPT fittings locally.

Remove that fitting. The hole in the block is the correct size to accept the line directly. ;)

I got my block adapter from Summit. I think I still have the package it came in so I can look for the size, if needed.

No, the elbow fitting that is screwed into the block that the OE hard line threads into, remove that.
