I didn't know the turbo requires oil feed restrictor when I was putting the turbo. Now that it's in, it is hard to put the oil feed restrictor on turbo. So I was wondering if it is okay to put it on the engine block. Wouldn't it do the same?

thanks,

Luke

What turbo are you talking about? If it's the stock, T25, it already has one built into the lines I think*.

If you are using aftermarket SS lines, you would need a restrictor unless ofcourse it has one built in already.

If not, you can install one either on the block of the turbo. It doesn't matter where as long as it's somehwere in the oil feed line.

BTW, new GT2871Rs have a restrictor built in the turbo already.

I bought the turbo and taka lines from HeavyThrottle, so I asked him and he said the taka lines should have it built in.

Is this true?

thanks,
