I'm looking into options I have for my oil drain for the GT28R. I know I can widen the bolt holes on the stock drain, but I hate modifying stuff and I have some extra cash I can do something with. I have about a foot of -10AN stainless steel line and was wondering if this is big enough to fit over the "bung" in the oil pan for the drain?

I have a spare oil pan. I can measure the diameter of the fitting if that will help. IDK what the ID of -10 is.

-10 is the perfect size for the drain on the sump.

You think I could use the "push on" fittings with stainless steel hose and be ok or no? I see that's what you're using D_stirls.

i'm pretty sure that the push on fittings can only be used with the hose that they are designed for. Due to the tightness of the bend i removed one of the 3 barbs which was on the fitting but since there is very low pressure (crank case pressure) on the fitting there is no issue with modifying it. Also due to the tightness of the bend i fitted a stainless spring to the inside of the hose to stop it crimping.
