Lol if your drain plug fell out i think you would have a lot more to worry about than if a Ka24de plug fits in.

I would think they are the same, but have no real clue at all.

The drain plugs are interchangeable between the KA, CA and SR engines.

Sounds like when walmart did an oil change on my wife's `92! But they just forgot to replace the plug!

Over the years, I've heard about that happening so much at Wal-Mart's.

I know I know. I normally do change my own oil. Just didn't have the time. And I'd didn't feel like doing it myself in 100+F heat.

ok so i went to walmart and was feelin lazy that day so i decided to let the great people of the walmart auto center change my oil..an hour later of walking around and reading magazines i came out to get my car to find out that they didnt change my oil...and their reason: the oil drain plug was on too tight and they supposily couldnt get it loose

so i went back in got oil and an oil filter went homeand changed my own oil...and my oil plug came out smooth like butter

never again...
