well i know how to clock the compressor housing of my turbo but i want to be sure on how to clock the center section before i do it. problem is, oil drain is pointing striaght up and oil feed is straight down. now should i loosen the red circled bolts and do a 180* with the center section or any other way to do it? oil drain:oil feed:

Yes, just clock the center section the way you stated. Then clock the compressor housing however you need.

the bearings are inside of the center cartirage. unbolting the housings only unbolt the housings. if you were to take them off you would jsut see the compressor and turbine wheels

Nope. There are no bearings present around the mating lips of the turbine housings.

If you are using the internal wastegate, here's a tip. When you finally clock the intake housing, make sure the wastegate actuator mounting location matches with the wastegate flap. Judging by your picture, it seems your wastegate will be external since I do not see the flap and hinge, however I can't see the other side of the turbo.
