I searched around but couldn't find what i was really looking for...I know oil coolers are a good idea so i figured i would pick up a blitz kit. I looked around on eBay and saw stuff for like no more then 100...Then i found a site that sold the blitz oil cooler and it was about 700...Is this the average price or was i just finding off the wall sites? Also are oil coolers pretty much universal and same in quality as long as the correct lines are used? Thanks very much

I cant answer most of that =(.

But i can tell you I have seen the Blitz kit for between 600 - 700. I'll save money and get a trans cooler instead.

I was checking out one of my Drift Tengoku mags from Japan, although I dont really read Japanese well. From the pics I was able to figure out that they just used some motorcycle radiator (or other cooling part from a junkyard) and some oil cooler hose to fabricate there own SR oil cooler.

Yeah, i have seen oilcoolers like that for motorcycles on eBay, so that is gonna be my plan, 700 bucks is a lot for 100 bucks worth of parts

well I'm building a 350-400 rwhp sr20det. I currently have a stock sr20det (stock turbo, with tons of bolt ons)...but am upgrading to the t3/t04e turbo very soon.

I just installed an oilcooler on my car and i used Mocal (an English company) stuff for the job. It's a lot cheaper (250$) than the Blitz kit and is still high quality. But to be honest i must admit that the Blitz kit is worth it's money (i did research about oilcoolers before i bought my stuff), cause they only use the very best stuff in this kit, for example alone the oil lines and fittings in this kit will set u back atleast 250$ if u wanna get the same quality.

@nils: I need the cooler for the Autobahn! Without an additional oilcooler the oil gets hot as hell on these roads, don't know why:D
