This project took forever, its also because I'm too lazy. I made a bracket and tapped the inside of the fender where the cooler was going to be mounted. I kinda messed on this when I mounted the cooler too high and ended up having to cut out a lot of where the battery originally exsisted.I covered the cooler with aluminum window screen to protect the cooler from rocks and debris, especially right next to the tire. The setup looks a little unprofessional due to not purchasing the correct -AN fittings and steel-braided line by the foot, instead I had a HOSE shop pre-make everything. Let me know what you guys think. Front viewNow I need to work on is paint and body. I don't know if that is such a good investment being that I live in Palm Springs and we have Sandstorms all the time.I wish my engine looked like this.

I like it. I noticed my oil temp went up about 15-20C after I put my front bumper back on. Made me want to do that. And the fact that the sr's oil filter is kinda a P.I.T.A. to get at.

The only thing I would worry about is rocks hitting it from your tire. You might need something more substantial, like a sheet of aluminum (or plastic) with louvers in it. Nissan did something similar on the silvia, behind the smic, they put louvers in the wheel well lining. But if you stay off the gravel roads Im sure you'll be fine

Whummm.. interesting mounting location lol. Not knockin it but I would make a bracket and mount it to the radiator support inbetween the radiator and the intercooler or behind the radiator in the engine bay if theres room. Better protection in those areas...
