Oil cooler question

Well I searched around and I couldnt find what I was looking for.I am about to install my Greddy oil cooler and relocator in my s14 sr. Should I be adding more oil to the engine? Also I have read over and over again about overcooling but its always hot here(80+ year round) do I still need a thermo?? Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks for your time guys.

coolant stat. yes or you will run full rich till fully warmed. also you do need to add more oil to the system to compensate for the oil cooler and lines to feed it. it's an added bonus of an oil cooler.
