I just recently found out my car is leaking coolant from one of the lines coming from the turbo. At first I thought the crush washers weren't sealing properly, but soon found out there was a little kink in one of the hardlines

So, I am planning on converting all the lines to stainless steel braided ones. To further speed up the process, I have decided to go to a performance shop here in my city and pick up all the necessary parts and put it together my self (I hate waiting for stuff in the mail).

My question is, does any happen to know what size fittings bolt into the block and turbo for the coolant and oil lines? I've searched the forums but haven't been able to find any answers, hoping someone can speed me through this process

If all goes well, hopefully I can do a writeup soon

oh yeah, I have an S14 SR20 w/ GT28RS (disco potato). I doubt there's any difference for fittings between the motors, but would be nice to hear some reassurance

Coolant feed Block side and Turbo side will use a -6 Union adapter 14x1.5

Coolant return at the turbo is also 14x1.5.. and on the back of the head uses a hose clamp.

Oil Feed line will use -3 12X1.25 union adaptor for block and turbo side.

The fittings for the oil feed line are not the same on both ends. The stock hardline for the oil feed does use the same banjo fitting, but the actual banjo bolts that go through the fittings are different. The block side banjo bolt is the same thickness on both the threaded and non-threaded section of it. The turbo banjo bolt is thinner on the threaded section, and thicker on the non threaded section.

Both coolant lines have the same ends though.

The stainless oil feed line I have use the factory banjo bolt through a banjo fitting on the block, and an AN fitting on the turbo.

I'm 99% sure that the thread pitch on the block side is 12x1.5. Pretty sure that the turbo side is -3 10x1.25, but not positive. I am positive however that the fittings are different sizes for the oil feed line.

Why don't you just take the lines off, and take them to a hose/hydraulics parts store? They'll be able to get you the fittings you need cheap, and could even just fab the lines up for you.

So how do plan to remove and replace the lines? All of the fittings for the lines, that connect directly to the turbo are an absolute slut to remove and replace, with the exhaust manifold & turbo still bolted to the engine. And even worse without a vehicle hoist.

I just noticed that you're in Canada too.
