Sounds like you have a lemon.
The FWD VQ35DE's don't seem to be affected by this (usually), but there are a tiny handful (well less than 1%) that are. This problem is much more prevalent with the `05+ Rev-UP VQ35DE's in the 350Z/G35.
It's cheaper to add oil every 1000 miles than it is to buy a new engine, so I would just keep doing that. A tiny handful of VQ30DE's have done this too, but the number is so few no one mentions it.
If you're really curious, have a mechanic do a compression/leakdown test, although with the way the intake manifold is designed, it's pain in the *ss to do that. If your compression results are not good your piston rings are probably leaking, but again I wouldn't worry about it unless you think you're seriously down on power or you feel like spending $$$$ to get a new engine installed.
