OIL CONSUMPTION - NEED RECOMENDATION

Apparently my 03 Pathfinder is burning/consuming oil. Before I went on a 400 miles round trip I checked the engine oil level, it was ok at the "H". A week after I came back from the trip I checked the engine oil level, this time the level was all the way down to the "L" suggesting it needed a quart of oil. I am using full synthetic 5-30W oil. There are no oil leaks whatsoever, the engine is spotless clean, so the engine is burning/consuming oil.

Do I need to go to a heavier oil to help with this problem?.

What type of engine oil and filter do you typically use? Heavier grade oil (10W-40 and above) may slow oil consumption. High mileage oil may also help.
