oil consumption 03 qx4

hey im new on this amazing forums I have a problem in my 2003 qx4 295000 km and it eats up a lot of oil like 2 liters every 4500km oil change is their a solution for this

P.S its gulf specifications

What oil and filter do you use? What is your driving style (city, highway, mix)?

I use nissans super gold motor oil 20w-50 I live in Dubai so I use a higher viscosity and for the filter I use nissan genuine filter

Can you try a thinner oil, maybe 10W-40 and see if the oil consumption decreases? 20W-50 is not necessary. You would likely be fine with a 5W-30 even - the engine's cooling system will keep temperatures within specifications. If you had an air-cooled engine, I can understand the thicker oil.

For our 50 c temperature it's recommend by the dealer and by the gulf spec owners manual but at all this it doesn't smoke from behind

10W-40 is also suitable for temperatures above 38C, according to the factory service manual. Try it for one oil change and see if less oil is consumed. It will not damage anything.
