are really damn annoying on this car...

ive realized recently that nissan didn't make this car for do-it-yourself maintenance... not to mention rotating tires...

me and my stepdad had to use two jacks in order to rotate the tires, probably not the smartest thing, but it was our only option =\

ok sorry.. just had to vent, has anyone else gotten the feeling they dont want anyone doing maintenance on this car themselves?

If you ever watch how front wheel drive cars are assembled, you'll know why things are so hard to get at.

First the entire drive train is bolted together on the floor as a unit, then slid up into the engine compartment on a power lift while the car is up in the air. Then the whole engine and transmission unit are bolted into to place. Now when it comes time to get at all those various bits and pieces for serviceing, the ease of assembly at the factory suddenly becomes the owners problem.

If you wonder why the Versa oil filter is hard to get at, then I hope you take a handfull of tranquilers when you find out what it takes to get the spark plugs out!

First you start by draining the radiator..........

The good news is that by the time they need to be changed, you will probably have traded it off.......

I just changed the oil and rotated the tires. No problem. I'm not understanding what's so annoying.
