I don't know many people who like to use penzoil...

Mobil 1 has been my choice for performance engines for the last several years.

For initial break-in (0-500 miles), I use the cheapest stuff I can find. Then I run cheap synthetic blend (500-2000 miles). After that, it's usually full-synthetic Mobil 1.

oil shoudnt affect your engine to the point of noticing. even some of your performance oils are only noticable on the dyno and its usually only a 2 hp increase. check around your engine bay to make sure no sensors or plugs are undone. the guys changing your oil could of had unhooked one

Just always stuck with Valvoline regular oil. Still use it on my coupe (180k+ miles).

Put in Mobil 1 5000 reg oil in my Versa last time, didn't notice any difference or anything, no complaints.

Haven't had a boosted engine yet, when I do it will be Mobil 1 full syn.

Full synthetic on an older car may cause your seals start to leak. did a project on motor oils. Valvoline was best penzoil was the worst mobil was the 2nd best.penzoil started to pop like bacon grease

I used to use Castrol. Now I use Mobil 1. I've heard a lot of good things about Royal Purple so I may switch over to that later on.

I used to use Mobil 1 but I switched to Royal Purple full synthetic...not only the engine oil but I use it in my transmission, rear diff. and use Purple Ice in my engine coolant. It's a little high but it's good stuff.
