Well i think every1 is aware of the rod knock i got in my motor.my question is should i still do the oil change or is that just a waste of money

depends on if you're going to buy a body kit and drive the car for six months.



seriously tho, it depends on when you're gonna fix that.

Someone needs to see if I'm right about this before you do it:

If you do change your oil, put the thickest oil or "sludge" in so it will coat the barrings and maybe keep the knock from shooting threw the wall of your engine.

Anyone agree?

or just do it right. rebuild it with forged internals - no more knock, and you can turn the boost up and put bigger turbos on, both of which are inevitable.

you will have to take apart the new motor to put in forged internals anyway. it seems like it would make sense NOT to buy a new engine when the one you have is perfectly good....right?

An oil change really isn't that hard, so you might as well. Although you should look into a new engine or rebuild your engine.
