so it's time for an oil change, first time on this car, how do i get at the oil filter? i know you can get it at by removing the air box, but how does one go upon removing it without oil going all over the place, it's in such a stupid place, even stupider than my Z32, any help would be much appreticated, thanks

Get at it from the bottom with your hands and be very patient.

Pay $20 to have some high school kid do it for you...Just stand right over his shoulder and watch while he is doing the work. Then when he inevitably messes up and spills oil everywhere, you get to yell at him!

You just have to reach up in the underside and work it out. It is designed not to spill oil everywhere and drains in one central location it seems. I would one day like to relocate mine like superruber, maybe he can post a pic and tell us where he got the kit...

Back when my car ran I removed the charcoal canister and pulled the filter from the top
