in my opinion i think its rather a good investment than a bad one, when i took my oe upper plenum off to replace it with the kinetix one i saw all the sludge gross build up around parts of the intake from "blowby" coming from the crankcase..their inexpensive, especially at that price of $60, you can even make your own custom one too but i was too lazy so i bought one. they all perform the same so don't think the 200 arc one is going to do any better than the Greddy catch can. grawl.

no it doesn't effect your vac pressure if it's hooked up correctly
evildky wrote:yup, no preformance or economy to be gained form a catch can, it's just a fancy PCV system, looks different does esentially the same thing just catches any oil as opposed to buring it in your intake charge, they are far more useful on forced induction cars as they have more blow by, higher crank case pressure and more air to vetn off, and if you are getting more than a few drops here and there in your catch can there is somethign wrong with your engine

yeah its weird, acted like i had vacuum issues when i ran it one day (when i posted that) and then i checked all my lines and the next day it was fine. Kind of odd!..... Anyway, yeah its not doing anything to the vacuum, but its also not catching anything. One day when i have a whole 5 min. i will probably take it off. Looks kind of cool though.

it won't catch oil rightaway, first you have to notice the hoses getting all grimy and brown, and the brown color works its way to the can
