i would have posted this in the official RB catch can thread but i figured i'd just start a new one. anyway heres my set up. on a rb20 i still have the intake side cam covers connected to the intake manifold with the one way check valve. then on the exhaust side i have it run to my catch can, and a vacuum line going to the catch can to the intake pipe. anyway the motor runs great no leaks but i noticed that there was absolutely NO oil in the catch can after about a month of driving. i know my motor is very healthy but i figured i would be getting some? is this becuase most of it is all going into the intake side and not my catch can? or is something set up wrong. the one thing i did notice is that when i take off the vacuum line from the intake pipe and feel it it has little to no vacuum that i can feel. i think i might just switch the set up around and run both covers directly to the catch can and plug the pcv valve. anyone that has any suggestions id like to hear. thanks!

Did you put anything inside the catch can to actually catch the oil?

Is there at least like oil residue inside? (i.e. showing signs of blow-by passing through, but not actually filling the can up)

Yes, you need to have _SOME_ oil in it to start with.
