I met some guy at some shop yesterday and he had a Greddy oil catch can on his 350z. He said it helped on gas mileage and made his engine run better. Researched it and found out good stuff about it for the $$. Its only $100 and i was wondering if any of you guys here have it on your Z?

i got that same one, dosen't really improve anything on horsepower but it does help catch grossness build up from "blowby gas" expelled from the crankcase in the long run. not to mention it makes the ricers go ooh and ah at the shows. and dont bother getting a $200 arc one, they all work the same way, you can even make one yourself.

can you guys take pictures of it, maybe show how to hook it up. I bought one and it didn't come with instructions specific for the vehicle, and no pictures (knock off universal). I installed it the way i understood it, but it doesn't catch anything. Have had it for about a month, maybe longer and there is nothing in the can. Thanks

ill post pics as soon as i get my camera back, the left headlight had to be removed to get it on, once thats done and good, its easy pie from there. Its also a good idea to have an extra pair of hands.

yup, no preformance or economy to be gained form a catch can, it's just a fancy PCV system, looks different does esentially the same thing just catches any oil as opposed to buring it in your intake charge, they are far more useful on forced induction cars as they have more blow by, higher crank case pressure and more air to vetn off, and if you are getting more than a few drops here and there in your catch can there is somethign wrong with your engine

i was looking for a pic of what you hooked it up to...... the PCV line that runs into the left side (if you are looking at the motor from the front) of the upper plenum? my catch can is in the same place!
