I bought this s14 sr20det redtop swap... from here actually. I has a greddy oil catch can and there is one hose going into it and one place to put a hose open. MY question is what do i do with that open stop its blowing oil out of it? Also my dip stick keeps blowing out which again is glowing some oil out.

Any pics so we can see what you mean about the catch can? When oil comes out of the oil dipstick it's a good sign saying that the crank case pressure it too high. Mainly caused by an excessive amount of blow-by.

looks like this http://www.turbomr2.com/MR2/Fo...8.jpgbut the right side has a line from the valve cover and the left side has nothing. How would I fix the blow by? I can go get pics Its sitting at a friends house I can get pics later. Here it is before the catch can was put on I believe http://img406.imageshack.us/img406/2199/68vcz4.jpg

That's a basic catch can design.. One line from the valve cover to the can. Then from the can to the vacuum source. The line that has nothing is supposed to go to a vacuum only source. (Before the turbo)

Blow-by is the exhaust gas escaping through the piston rings. There is not a permanent fix aside from a rebuild with new rings.OR If the motor has been sitting for awhile let it run and see if the oil reseals the rings. You can see if it does by getting a compression check.ORThe catch can seeing vacuum may just fix the entire problem.

Best place is on the pipe between the turbo and MAF.

Is there a place to just run the line or will I have to get a pipe fabed?

your dipstick could also be popping out cause of a clogged/stuck PCV valve. check this thread, it might help zerothread?id=278685

It's pretty easy to DIY... since were you need it to be never see's positive pressure you don't have to worry too much about beefiness. People have glued a nipple on with JB weld, others have welded them in.
