i see that some people have oil catch can for their sr20det, but wait, phase2 pointed out to me that the s13 black top already has factory oil catch can that recyclers back into the head... so why do people still need to get oil catch can?

I have a redtop but should be the same. The PCV valve coming out the valve cover T's with one hose going to the factory baffle and back into the block and the other hose recirculating back into the rubber intake pipe. People bypass the latter with a catch can in order to keep oil/mist/ crap from accumilating on the turbo.

I am probably totally wrong

but if it's connected back to rubber intake hose, that means air is going TOWARD the block and the baffle box so it wouldn't make a difference...?

but air circulates. I still got some oil tossed around with the stock setup, but I did gut out my pcv and put the breather on that. Possibly that did something to the setup. I'd still think the catch can were a pretty good bit of insurance though, for just in case.
