what do u guys think is a good amount of oil to put into a redtop sr20det with stock oil pan?

about 3 1/2 quarts or something like that... you should download and refer to your fsm.

Fail. Look it up in the FSM. It's actually closer to 4 but 3 1/2 is safer than overfilling.
