Did you change the oil right after you ran the Seafoam in it?

most seafoam guides and the seafoam bottle itself warn against using the product in motors with high mileage, whats the mileage on your motor?

Do you know how many miles you drove before changing it? You might need to replace your valve seals also.

i drove it for maybe 100 miles. everything else seems to be okay though. if the sea foam is still in the engine, do you think an oil flush would work?

if you're sure you're burning oil, then seafoam being left over in the engine is no concern, b/c something is already damaged/leaking.
