hey guys i just did a red top sr swap in my s13 and i believe i am burnin oil cause of the color of the smoke. i did a cylinder leak down test and it didnt even have a low leak on any of the cylinders so im pretty sure its not in my engine. i do need a tune. i am running 550 injectors(not by choice) on an other wise stock map from my ecu running stock boost. could that be the problem?bad turbo?opinions please!

That would be a leaky turbo.

That, or it's a good excuse to upgrade, . What turbo do you have anyway?

i'm in the same boat, had problems with it smoking and the turbo was blown because it was whining. Just pulled the turbo off today and i was just planning on replacing with a stock t25 if only i didn't get let off work this week i would probably upgradeis it possible to run a t28 without injectors/maf/tune?

Why would it be a problem?? S14 SR has the same fuel management with a T28...

i can just rebuild right? not that expensive i hear. also hear that on garett turbos you dont have to re balance them.is this true do you know? or do you think it would be better to get a t28 disco potato instead?
