-Possibly the oil drain is insufficient and oil is building up in the turbo and working its way through the seals. Right now I am using the stock rb25 oil drain cut and welded at a sharper angle to clear the motor mount and then a rubber hose to connect to the fitting on the block. What are you guys using for the drain? Holsets use a piston ring type seal for the oil and it has a gap so over filling the oil gallery may possibly be allowing oil to push through to the exhaust wheel and burning up. I have a restrictor in the feed line which is ~0.06in I believe, I researched which size to use before making the restricter and I believe that was the size I used.
-Currently there is no catch can on the car and the valve cover vent with the PCV valve is running to the intake manifold. Possibly oil is getting pushed through the pcv valve into the intake manifold is the oil is being sucked in and burned.
-Another possible cause may be that when I fill my oil to the specified amount it does not reach the dip stick, it used to read right but after installing a greddy intake manifold it doesn't seem to be reading correctly so I am not sure if there is too much oil in the motor as I added more (around a quart) to try and get it up to the line on the dip stick.
Any input on this or ideas of what could cause this? I want to get the car tuned but can't do so if its burning oil like this.
On a side note everyone likes pics so here is one, dont mind the dirty bay its all body filler dust from getting the car ready for new paint, also I tackled putting power steering on last week end I think I am gonna do a write up as I couldn't find any and had to figure it out myself.
