There are quite a few electric water pumps to look at. Just google them...

The stock oil pump can be shimmed as well to increase oil pressure.

I know this is a bit off topic but are the timing kits they have on http://importperformanceparts.net/ any good? Iam doing a rebuild as well and I dont wanna cheap out on the timing kit as that to me is very very very important.

ya electric water pump is the way i was thinking about going, does anyone make a bolt up one for the ka?

it seems like there are mixed reviews on the toga oil pump though...i like the idea of moding the stock oil pump though, what do you shim and is there a way to change the gearing of them?

the l28et oil pump(i believe, or 280zx) fits the sohc, not the dohc, and its a good upgrade for it.

i've never seen a aftermarket pump bolt-on for the ka, i'd guess you'd have to custom make a universal 1.
