Hello all,

I have an 06 M35x with Tech and Journey package, 130k miles.

I took it to the dealership for an oil change, they told me the oil and power steering has a slow leak. They told me to replace some hoses, which I did. now it seems like its getting worse.

The power steering I add every 3 months just a little bit of Lucas power steering and it seems fine, I never hear any noise, or feel any issue with the steering.

But for the oil, its so hard to measure it and take the stick it, because of the positioning of it, is there a way to check the oil level from inside the car by any chance... I don`t want to have problem with my engine if oil is low, but it`s so hard to pull the stick out and get it back in.

Thanks
Andy

Is it only from hoses? Or is there oil on the engine, etc.?

Power steering leaks are kind of uncommon on M's. It may be leaking from the bellows because fluid is filling them up. My 206k M35 just got a new rack because of that. As far as checking oil level, the only way to do it is using the dipstick.
