Ohming the injectors from the harness connector

I think DAEDALUS posted this but Im not sure..... Ive tried it and I cant get it...

Could someone tell me how to?? I know you can, its the harness connector on the bottom I think.....

We make a harness adapter from old junk Q connectors.Takes two plugs as the 8 injector returns [to ecu] are in one connector and two [4 each] +12 v feeds for each bank are in another connector.

Color coded common + 4 injectors, then another color for the other bank...............gets difficult to probe the connectors with just two hands without adapter.

I realize most of you don't have junk cars to get the harness from to make the adapters..........something to think about at junk yards.

Unplug injector harness to use ohm meter to check each injector. Attach one probe of the ohm meter to the + battery post use the other probe to touch each wire from the "injector side" of connector.No other plug necessary.Looking at "injector side" connector the configuration is: 1-7-6-48-3-5-2

But that way you are measuring the external to harness wiring and fuse to battery..............good enough I guess but expect a few more tenths of ohms [even 0.5] than the injector true resistance at the connectors.

But then again many low cost VOM are not very accurate at 12 ohms [function of their internal battery condition].

Basically I am going to inspect another Q and I just need the general idea..... Mainly if a certain injector is GOOD or BAD....
